gone that gusto

When I started uploading these photos 5 hours ago I was full of energy and had big plans for this outfit post.   Plans of discussing the virtues of throwing on a blazer to make any outfit look professional, of explaining how I fixed the broken zipper on this skirt after 2 and a half months of procrastination, and of why I wore stripes again (to contribute to diya's theme challenge).  My plans were botched and my gusto deflated by the speed (or lack thereof) of my dinosaur of a computer which, I believe, is dying a slow, agonizing, cancerous death.  At this point I just want to throw something into a post to show off my outfit, which is pretty damn cute, and go to bed.    So here I am, in my newly repaired maxi skirt, a form-fitting, waist-cinching blazer, and more stripes.  I know I say this every day but... I loved this outfit. And good night.

Well I like this outfit with its grey billowing skirt. I am a fan of the skirt fluttering against my legs and they must be long but somehow I never think I really look good in them.

I LOVE the maxi paired with the striped shirt! I wanted that skirt myself and never got it...now I'm regretting it...I never saw it in the physical store and without trying it on I was afraid it might be too short!

PS. thanks for joining the challenge! :)
