- The necklace was inspired by this one from Anthropologie; it cost much less the original but it also took much more time than I expected it would. It's fluid and chunky and shiny and I love it, but I wear it in constant fear that a string will break.
- I made the blouse this summer when what was intended to be a dress ended up a bit too short (first seen here, then here).
- The skirt is a year old this month and it still fits! That's a good sign, it means I haven't gained much weight in the last year. It does seem shorter than before but that's why we buy opaque tights, right?
- I don't wear this ring very often but it's one of my favorites. That tiny lighthouse portrait is so detailed and clear, and it's just the right amount of quaint without being too twee.
I was especially excited for this month's EBEW because I love any chance to show off and say "I made this myself," but I'm also really looking forward to getting some awesome inspiration from my fellow bloggers. Did you participate? What did you make? Leave a link, I want to see.
