If you took a poll, I bet 85% of style bloggers would say that autumn is their favorite season, right? I think this is due, in large part, to the fact that by late August we're collectively sick of sundresses and sandals. It's a lot easier to change up an article of clothing when you can add 5 other pieces and layer the shit out of it; for instance, this outfit, minus the tights and cardigan, would basically be this outfit and I would expect to be called out for a repeat. But add the rust orange tights (hello, I'm obsessed with this shade like it was just invented) and my beloved mustard cardigan, sprinkle in a dash of leopard print and oxfords and whoa, whole new outfit. Could I be a more cliche blogger right now with my chambray-leopard-oxford-orange ensemble? Well, maybe if I added a top knot and didn't need the glasses to see.

Topknot - yes, but keep the glasses because it's the hipster thing to do :D
Seriously though, I love the color combo of this. Now I have to break out my chambray shirt & mustard cardigan...
Actually, a very fabulous outfit whether it's typical or not! And let the orange ramble continue because I'm feelin it too. Love the oxfords too girl!
Love your necklace!!!
I am loving the mustard & ketchup color trend!
I don't think I would have ever paired these colors together, but you rock it. This is such a fabulous look. I LOVE IT.
Love the beautiful colors you have going on here! So pretty!

The colors are gorgeous. I went to target and got those same tights. All I could see wearing with them was a mustard colored shirt, or blazer. I got all colors, went overboard! Anyway, you look fabulous!!

Love love the colours! Although in Australia late August is when we're just starting to think about the sundresses and sandals...
I´m totally digging this color combo: I couldn´t imagine a better fall outfit :) Then again, to hell with the clichés, you wear what you love and you blog about what you want... :) You look great!

You're totally right -- fashion forward folks love transitional seasons. I suspect the reason is basically what you said: wherever you live, you're acclimatized to feel like it's too hot in summer or too cold in winter to wear the most desirable combinations.
Anyway, there are no words for how those tights work with your coloring. Not just your hair, but your pretty complexion.
haha, I love it! you are so right. I am also one of those people loving autumn for its' layering quality! definitely makes remixing a lot easier. Your outfit would be still cute as a repeat though! Loving the skirt with your chambray shirt!!
i would agree with your statistics :)
love love love fall! And i love the way you mixed the reds with this mustard color! such a fun outfit

Every spring I think I'll never wear rust colours again I am so bored with them after the winter but by autumn I am raring to dust off that part of my closet :)
