I recently treated myself to a belated Christmas gift (all purchases made in January will be identified as such) and ordered some new shoes. I've got zero space to store them, but nevermind that. I've had my mind on a few styles and colors that I felt were lacking in my closet and among them was a pair of high lace-up boots, bonus points if they had some sort of lift. I was thrilled to find these in brown (black lace-up boots might have looked and felt a bit more dominatrix than I was aiming for) and on sale, no less! They're not uncomfortable, which is to say that the quality is greater than expected for the price. If you're so inclined, you may also purchase a pair for yourself here at gojane.com. (not an affiliate link, I make no money off your clicks) They're not on sale anymore (were they ever? I can't remember) but there are coupon codes all over the webz. Also, I am still, always, forever wearing autumn tones. No signs of changing that any time soon, especially with a forecasted 75-80° weekend. I'm particularly fixated on this reddish-eggplanty color (my sister bought me this top for Christmas. Danke, Bec!) It seems to go with every other color and pairs well with my hair and skin tone and new boots. Who cares what Pantone says, this is my color of the year. |

Oooooh! A great find and even better that it was on sale! I love this look! I am also jealous of your forecast. When we hit 50 I'm like "woooo! No jacket today!"
Such an adorable skirt! Goodness I wish it were that warm here! We are in the 30's!
Nice boots! I recently thrifted a great pair of leather lace-up boots which I'm stoked about, it's just too bad it's too cold to wear them right now :( I envy you your bare legs!
Cute outfit, I really like those boots!!
Were gonna have (starting today) temps in the upper 50's lower to mid 60's here which isn't bad. I won't have to worry about a scarf, gloves, ear muffs and a heavy coat through next week!! YAAAAAY!!

Love those boots! And I agree about the color- brown is perfect for them!
I LOVE those boots. They look so good on you. New shoes are always fun, even if storage is in question!
I am all for leaving winter out and going from autumn right into spring :)
Looking great, enjoy the toasty "winter" weather!
You're so cute! Glad to have found your blog :) I love this outfit, especially the yellow cardigan and that adorable owl necklace! Have a great weekend!!
Those boots are frickin' hot, and only exactly as dominatrix like as any and all boots should be.
Also: while reading the last paragraph of the post, I somehow misread "skin tone and new boobs" instead of "new boots," and immediately thought "Wha?! But you have such great boobs already!"
great outfit, I like the combination! :)
